Join Savannah Woodard, a certified trauma-informed yoga teacher, in restoring your nervous system through breath and asana. Restorative yoga is intended to be simple and slow.
Savannah will start her class with a little somatic movement and then guide you through 8 poses to stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS). Your PSNS is a network of nerves that relaxes your body after periods of stress or danger. Because of this particular intention, restorative yoga classes often differ from most yoga classes. We will utilize props, breath, and deep meditative states to permit our bodies to relax and restore truly.

About your Instructor: Savannah is passionate about holistic approaches to trauma resolution. She became a trauma-informed certified Ashtanga yoga teacher and Reiki Master because of yoga and energy work's impact on her own recovery. She wanted to bring these modalities into her work with others. Savannah believes in the limitless possibilities of human potential and dedicates her life to empowering those impacted by trauma.
